Ant-Man Comic-Con Poster Revealed

DC's Batman drives the Batmobile and Marvel's Ant-Man gets around town on a winged ant. As an antihero who can shrink down to microscopic size, Scott Lang has an unconventional mode of transportation that's featured along with key characters on Marvel's recently unveiled Ant-Man Comic-Con poster, and fans eagerly awaiting the 2015 film should be pleased.

Showing Scott Lang transforming back to full size while wearing his shrinking suit, this poster made exclusively for Comic-Con by Andy Park and labeled as “Pre-Production Concept Art” also includes a look at Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym in the background. Comic-Con attendees can pick up this poster at Marvel's Booth #2329.

The Ant-Man movie is scheduled to be released on July 17th, 2015. Marvel recently hired director Peyton Reed to replace director/co-writer Edgar Wright after he left the project due to creative differences. Adam McKay (Anchorman films) was brought in to rewrite the original script penned by Wright and Joe Cornish (Attack the Block). Filming will begin this August.

In the comic books, Scott Lang is initially not the hero type, as he steals the shrinking suit technology from the original Ant-Man, Hank Pym. Over time, however, Scott learns to use his newfound powers for good and not thievery. We have a look at the poster below (a big thanks to EW for the poster image!):
