"When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth." Zombie fans can watch Ken Foree utter this immortal line on the big screen now that 1978's Dawn of the Dead is headlining next year's April Ghouls Drive-In Monster-Rama's Saturday night lineup. One of our favorite horror events of the year, the movie marathon takes place not far from where George A. Romero filmed his seminal sequel.

On their Facebook page, the folks behind Drive-In Monster-Rama announced that they have secured the DCP (Digital Cinema Package) of George A. Romero's classic 1978 zombie film, Dawn of the Dead, to headline their Saturday night lineup.

Held every year in September and April, the Drive-In Monster-Rama shows eight classic horror movies over two nights on a huge drive-in screen in Vandergrift, PA's Riverside Drive In Theatre (mere miles away from the Monroeville Mall, where Romero filmed Dawn of the Dead). The event will be held on Friday, April 24th and Saturday, April 25th. Stay tuned for further updates on the April Ghouls Drive-In Monster-Rama as more movies are booked.
