The final eight episodes of AMC's The Walking Dead Season 6 featured some of the show's most violent and dark moments yet, but as many behind-the-scenes photos show, that didn't stop the cast and crew from having a good time on set. [Spoiler Warning for those who haven't watched Season 6b.]

Following the big cliffhanger of the Season 6 finale, fans will have to wait around six months to find out who was on the receiving end of Negan's barbed wire-wrapped baseball bat, Lucille. For those that missed it or want to watch it again, we've included the ending clip of the finale below, as well as a retrospective video on Season 6.

The Walking Dead: The Complete Sixth Season will be released on Blu-ray (plus Digital HD) and DVD on August 23rd from Anchor Bay Entertainment. Details on special features and the separate limited edition version have not been unveiled, but we'll keep Daily Dead readers updated on future announcements.

While a premiere date for Season 7 has yet to be revealed, viewers can expect the show to return in October, according to the schedules of past seasons.
