Casting News for Cabin Fever: Patient Zero

Cabin Fever: Patient Zero will begin shooting in the Dominican Republic next month and we have an update on who has been cast in the film.

We previously reported that Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings) and Brando Eaton (Dexter) were starring in the movie and they are now joined by Lydia Hearst, Jillian Murray, Ryan Donowho, and Mitch Ryan.

Kaare Andrews will direct the film and this will be the first of two upcoming Cabin Fever sequels, with the next movie being titled Cabin Fever: Outbreak. In Cabin Fever: Patient Zero, a "bachelor party cruise in the Caribbean unexpectedly runs ashore on a medical-research island". Somehow a deadly virus is unleashed and, as you can probably guess, things won't turn out well for most of the survivors.

The script was written by Jake Wade Wall (The Hitcher remake) with Cabin Fever producer Evan Astrowsky producing once again, along with his company Hypotenuse Pictures and Indomina Group.
