Yesterday it was revealed that It Follows actor Daniel Zovatto will play a recurring role on AMC's Fear The Walking Dead, and now another addition to the second season has been announced, while a new name has also been added to the season three cast of FX's The Strain.

Deadline reports that Arturo del Puerto (Chicago P.D., Ride Along 2) has secured a recurring role as Carlos on Season 2 of Fear The Walking Dead. Early details (which tend to change for AMC projects to maintain secrecy) on Carlos indicate that he's "guarded but possesses a spiritual understanding of the world." Del Puerto joins Daniel Zovatto as a new face on Fear The Walking Dead, which kicks off its 15-episode sophomore season on April 10th.

According to Deadline, another horror series, The Strain, has added actress America Olivo (Chicago P.D., 2009's Friday the 13th) to its third season ranks. It's not yet known what character Olivo will play, but viewers will find out when The Strain returns sometime this summer on FX. Stay tuned to Daily Dead for more updates on both Fear The Walking Dead and The Strain.
