It's already difficult to survive a psychopath hellbent on killing you and your best friends, but to take on such a ferocious threat while high on drugs? That takes serious coordination, focus, and a little bit of luck. This is the sinister scenario that Lloyd must survive in the UK thriller Comedown, coming soon to VOD in the US from The Orchard and Shock Till You Drop.

Hitting VOD in the US on August 5th, Comedown will also be available on iTunes, Amazon, and other VOD platforms:

"Directed by Menhaj Huda (Kidulthood), the film finds Anderson playing one of six friends – all of whom have known each other from childhood.

They break into the tower block they lived in as kids, now deserted and condemned, to rig-up a pirate radio station, get high and party. When one of the group goes missing, this group begin to search the dark interior of the tower and soon realize that they are not alone: a resident psychopath lurks in the shadows and is hunting them down, taking them out, one-by-one.

The interesting angle here is that the hero (played by Anderson) - who wishes to spend the night in this tower block sober – is drugged (as a joke) and he must not only take on the threat, but do it while he's "high.""

Menhaj Huda directed off of a script by Steven Kendall. Comedown stars Jacob Anderson (Game of Thrones), Sophie Stuckey, Jessica Barden, Shizzio, Naga, Calum MacNab, Adam Deacon, Geoff Bell, and Stephen Taylor.
