Dead Rising fans can look forward to two stocking stuffers this holiday season. In addition to Capcom unleashing the wisecracking wrath of Frank West in the new video game Dead Rising 4 on December 6th, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will also release Dead Rising: Endgame on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital on that same day.

(Oct. 10, 2016) – Prepare for a nonstop assault of zombie-slaying action when DEAD RISING: ENDGAME debuts on Blu-ray™, DVD and Digital December 6 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The action-packed sequel to Dead Rising: Watchtower chronicles the return of Jesse Metcalfe (“Dallas,” “Desperate Housewives”) as Chase Carter, an investigative journalist haunted by his past and now hunted by the military. After narrowly escaping a zombie quarantine, Chase—along with a group of dubious allies—slices, hacks and bludgeons his way through the zombie hordes that plague every corner of the abandoned city. As they unravel a government conspiracy, the heroes will have to confront their most gruesome nightmares in order to save millions of innocent lives. Based on the worldwide videogame phenomenon, the film arrives the same day as the highly anticipated Dead Rising 4 video game, marking the 10th anniversary of the hugely popular franchise.

DEAD RISING: ENDGAME also stars Billy Zane (Zoolander 2), Dennis Haysbert (“24,” Sin City: A Dame to Kill For), Marie Avgeropoulos (“The 100”), Jessica Harmon (“iZombie”), Keegan Connor Tracy (“Once Upon a Time,” “Bates Motel”), Ian Tracey (“Bates Motel,” Man of Steel), Victor Webster (“Continuum”), Camille Sullivan (“The Man in the High Castle”) and Patrick Sabongui (“The Flash”).

The Blu-ray™, DVD and Digital releases of DEAD RISING: ENDGAME include the never-before-seen featurette “Bringing Zombies to ‘Life’,” which chronicles everyday people transforming into real life zombies, as well as seven behind-the-scenes featurettes: “From Game to Screen,” where fans learn the story behind Dead Rising; “Making the Weapons,” where the film’s prop maker takes viewers through the weapons creation process and; four character featurettes where viewers can hear Jesse Metcalfe, Keegan Connor Tracy, Jessica Harmon and Marie Avgeropoulos give the inside scoop on their characters. The Digital release on XBox also includes the exclusive featurette “Lights, Zombies, Action!,” where the crew and stunt coordinator show viewers how they amped up the action for the sequel.

Synopsis:
