For many viewers, Cassandra Peterson portrayal of Elvira is synonymous with horror, as the Mistress of the Dark's brilliant comedic commentary has entertained and enlightened fans of the genre for decades. It's fitting, then, that the actress has teamed up with Tweeterhead to release a new photographic retrospective book this fall to celebrate her iconic character's 35th anniversary.

Recently announced on Twitter by Elvira, the new retrospective book is scheduled to come out this October, with pre-orders beginning on June 15th. Packed with more than 350 images (many of which have never been revealed to the public), the Elvira: Mistress of the Dark book will celebrate the Queen of Halloween's 35th anniversary in style, and it is sure to make it on many horror fans' Halloween wish lists.
