Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is making this an autumn to remember for Fede Alvarez fans. In addition to releasing Don't Breathe on Digital, Blu-ray, and DVD this November, the company is also unleashing Evil Dead Unrated on digital avenues beginning October 25th (as initially reported by Bloody Disgusting), giving viewers the chance to watch five minutes of footage from 2013's Evil Dead that was too extreme for the big screen.

From the Press Release (via Why So Blu?): "Also from Director Fede Alvarez, EVIL DEAD UNRATED will be available on digital platforms on October 25, just in time for Halloween. Fans will be able to see Fede’s unedited vision for the film with five additional minutes that were too intense for theaters. This also marks the first time Digital Extras will be available on Evil Dead."

Evil Dead (2013) synopsis: "Five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin where they discover a Book Of The Dead and unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.

A core cast of young, fresh talent includes Jane Levy (Suburgatory) as Mia; Shiloh Fernandez (Deadgirl, Red Riding Hood) as David; Lou Taylor Pucci (Carriers) as Eric; Jessica Lucas (Cloverfield) as Olivia and Elizabeth Blackmore (Legend of the Seeker) as Natalie."
