This Friday, Kevin Smith’s wildly weird and offbeat horror film Tusk arrives in limited theaters courtesy of A24, and Daily Dead recently had the opportunity to chat with Kevin Smith, as well as Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment and Genesis Rodriguez about their experiences collaborating together.

Smith also discussed his approach to making stories that aren’t for everyone and we heard from Long, Rodriguez and Osment (or the three “tusketeers” as I like to call them) on how Smith challenged them all as performers while during production on Tusk. Long also talked about sharing most of his scenes with his fellow co-star Michael Parks and the appeal of playing a somewhat unlikeable character this time around, something he hasn’t really done in his career until now.

Check out our video interview below and be sure to look for Tusk in theaters this weekend!
