Back in March, Stephen King released a new short story exclusively in German and French as a "Thank You" to his European fans for the great time he had during his visit to Europe late last year. Titled Bad Little Kid, it has been revealed that feature film rights to the story have already been picked up.

According to THR, who originally reported the news, the "supernatural tale centers on a man whose life changes forever when he realizes that a mysterious boy is causing the deaths of people he loves."

Laurent Bouzereau and his production company, Nedland Media, acquired feature film rights and the plan is for Bouzereau to direct. As a director, Laurent Bouzereau has over 284 credits for video documentaries and DVD / Blu-ray bonus features for movies such as The Dead Zone and Pet Sematary.
