First Footage from World War Z

We were supposed to be seeing World War Z this Christmas, but it was pushed back due to reshoots. We’ve been curious to see what the final film would look like and now have the first footage from the movie ahead of a full teaser trailer scheduled for release this Thursday.

Based on the Max Brooks novel, World War Z is directed by Marc Forster (Quantum of Solace) and stars Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, Matthew Fox, and James Badge. The movie is scheduled for release on June 21st, 2013:

“World War Z tells the story of the world’s desperate battle against the zombie threat with a series of first-person accounts ‘as told to the author’ by various characters around the world. A Chinese doctor encounters one of the earliest zombie cases at a time when the Chinese government is ruthlessly suppressing any information about the outbreak that will soon spread across the globe. The tale then follows the outbreak via testimony of smugglers, intelligence officials, military personnel and many others who struggle to defeat the zombie menace.”

These idiots are going to screw up one of the best novels about zombies I have ever read. What a shame as this could have been epic…now it’s another running zombie BS fest. Respected Brad’s work up to this. Guess egos can let well enough alone.

agreed, just from a few shot of this, it looks like it’s going to be “28 days later” on super steroids. their going to turn it into an action movie, and all the fans of the book are going to hate it, I can feel it in my bones.

If they had of called it ‘LEFT 4 DEAD : THE MOVIE’ I would’ve been all over it. But it looks awful…
