After last week's announcement of which American Horror Story season 1 actors would return for season 2, a new report reveals the first new character details.

According to TVLine, the casting process has begun for an actress in her mid-20's that will play a "major season 2 arch nemesis for Jessica Lange". Named Gia, she's said to be partially based off of Angelina Jolie's character in Girl, Interrupted:

"Gia, is described as a fierce, ferocious, extremely sexual and dangerous wild-child sexpot who harbors a secret..."

In case you missed the previous news, the Harmon's story is done and American Horror Story season 2 features a brand new story, characters, theme, and location. This time the horror will take place in an institution on the east coast. Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Even Peters, and Lily Rabe will all be making a return to the show, but will be playing new characters.

The writing and casting of season 2 is still ongoing, with shooting expected in to start in July. American Horror Story will return this October.
