"Apes... do not want war!" Ape leader Caesar bellows this at the entrance of a human community, but with hundreds of apes riding horseback and clutching spears in their hands behind him, it sure looks like they're prepared for war. The fragile co-existence between apes and humans looks ready to snap in the fourth clip from Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

In the clip, Jason Clarke's character Malcolm, determined to find a peaceful way for apes and humans to live together, walks ahead of the gun-toting crowd led by Dreyfus (Gary Oldman) to greet Caesar (Andy Serkis). But as you'll see, Caesar has not visited to exchange pleasantries. We have three additional clips from Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, as well as the film's official final trailer, for you to check out if you haven't already.

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was directed by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Let Me In) and stars Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty, Public Enemies, The Great Gatsby), Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight Rises, The Harry Potter film series), Keri Russell (The Americans, Mission Impossible III), Toby Kebbell (The Prince of Persia, Wrath of the Titans, Rock N Rolla), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Let Me In, ParaNorman), Enrique Murciano (Traffic, Black Hawk Down), Kirk Acevedo (The Thin Red Line) and Judy Greer (The Descendants, Three Kings, 13 Going on 30).

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes will be released in 3D and 2D on July 11th.
