This August, horror fans in the Midwest should get ready to trick or treat a little early this year as the 2015 Flashback Weekend Horror Convention is gearing up to celebrate all things Michael Myers with three days of Halloween-related events and guests as part of this year’s line-up. Flashback will also be honoring Stuart Gordon’s Re-Animator for its 30th anniversary, will play host to several notable cast members from American Horror Story: Freak Show and much more.
Running Friday, August 7th through Sunday, August 9th at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel (5440 N. River Road, Rosemont, IL 60018), Flashback Weekend is celebrating its 13th year with an all-out Halloween extravaganza, paying tribute to the original and many of the sequels from the iconic franchise. Tickets for this year’s convention are currently already on sale HERE and attendees can reserve their hotel rooms at the Crowne Plaza through July 20th at a discounted rate as well. "Flashback Weekend Chicago Horror Convention presents the largest gathering of HALLOWEEN guests in the home state of Michael Myers! The guest line-up features a Michael Myers reunion with Nick Castle, Will Sandin, Tommy Lee Wallace, Dick Warlock, George Wilbur, and Don Shanks, a “John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN reunion featuring legendary cinematographer Dean Cundey, Nancy Loomis and Charles Cyphers, Tom Atkins & a “HALLOWEEN 3: SEASON OF THE WITCH” reunion, a “HALLOWEEN 5” reunion, and a babysitter reunion from Rob Zombie’s “HALLOWEEN” featuring Scout Taylor Compton, Danielle Harris, and Kristina Klebe!
And it’s not just “Halloween” at Flashback this year - from “AMERICAN HORROR STORY”, John Carroll Lynch (the new horror icon “Twisty the Clown”) & Naomi Grossman (“Pepper”), a 30th Anniversary of “RE-ANIMATOR” celebration with legendary director Stuart Gordon & Jeffrey Combs (Herbert West), horror indie favorite Pat Healy (“CHEAP THRILLS”, THE INNKEEPERS”), Horrorhost legend Svengoolie (Rich Koz), and more guests to be announced.
