Maxim Media, the worlds largest independent film distributor, just picked up our film and will be placing it in over 180 countries by August/Sept this year.

Flagship Cinemas, Auburn has agreed to a special 1 week run of the film with multiple showings a day. The Red Carpet Premier is June 20th. Once this run is finished, Andrew Poore (Owner of Flagship Auburn and Lewiston) is planning on placing it into several other Flagship Cinemas throughout New England. The more tickets we sell, the more theaters will run the film.

This film was written by Ben McLean, Monmouth native, at age 18. Bill McLean produced it and Tiffany McLean Directed and Edited it. This is a family film making endeavor.

This is a slapstick comedy action film, (For Ages 12 and up) that just happens to have zombies in it. The zombies look very real and are uniform across the board. We have over 150 (extras) zombies in the film.

With this international distribution, coupled with the theatrical run, this is the first indie film made In Maine by a Maine film company to be able to do this.

Freight Train Films, Winner of “Best Feature Film, People’s Choice Award” for the feature film “Scooter McGruder” in 2011, has just been nominated for “Best Maine Film” and “Best Feature Film” for “How to Kill a Zombie” at the Sanford International Film Festival May 31st – June 1st.”

Book Trailer Released for Disease: “M.F. Wahl’s debut novel Disease brings us into a world where zombies seem friendly compared to the demons that can live inside a survivor’s mind. Humanity’s war against the living dead has been lost. Those who managed to stay alive must now face the monsters in their midst.

“It’s been said many times before,” says Wahl, “but that’s because it’s so spot on. True horror is what we see when we hold up the mirror to ourselves. Whether it’s zombies, serial killers, or unseemly circumstances, it all boils down to how the characters relate back to us.”

Disease will be released in the summer of 2014. It will be available as an eBook for all the major formats, as well as an Audiobook.

Trailer produced by Egg Studios.”

A no-holds-barred, wickedly modern spin on the Bonnie and Clyde legend, Scavenger Killers features a stellar line-up of classic character and veteran genre actors including Eric Roberts (“In Cold Blood,” The Dark Knight), Charles Durning (The Sting, North Dallas Forty) and Robert Loggia (Scarface, Independence Day) along with a quirky appearance by Dustin Diamond (“Saved by the Bell”), among others. Starring Robert Bogue (“The Following”) as charismatic and respected Judge Taylor Limone, and co-stars Rachael Robbins (Bikini Bloodbath Christmas) as sultry, scheming attorney Clara Lovering, Scavenger Killers graphically portrays what can happen when the pressures of bringing the most heinous criminals to justice ferments into a darkly psychological and sexual pursuit of perverse pleasure!
