New Trailer for Charlotte's Song: "Game of Thrones baddie, Iwan Rheon (aka Ramsay Snow), stars in twisted retelling of the Little Mermaid, set in the Oklahoma Dust Bowl.

Titled “Charlotte’s Song”, the film, which stars Iwan Rheon of Game of Thrones and Misfits fame, is inspired by the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale The Little Mermaid, and tells the story of Charlotte (Katelyn Mager, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters), a young girl with a special gift, coming of age in the midst of one of the most desolate periods in American history.

Think Pan's Labyrinth meets HBO’s Carnivàle - gritty human drama with a supernatural twist, situated in the 1930s Oklahoma Dust Bowl. Featuring period dance choreography by world champion burlesque performers, rich costume and set design, original 1930s inspired score, and gorgeous cinematography, the film appeals to fans of twisted fairy tales and serious period drama alike.

Charlotte’s Song is the first in a slate of dark fantasy properties in development with Canadian production company Done Four Productions. Producer/creators Jessica Leigh Clark-Bojin and Lindsey Mann say we can expect to see more “intelligent genre” properties - films inspired by folklore and grounded in real life drama - coming out of Vancouver, Canada soon.

Charlotte’s Song is directed by Nicholas Humphries. The film is slated for a Spring 2015 release."
