Today's feature includes release details for Kane Hodder's Exit to Hell, trailer for Evil Feed, Another, and Terrible Angels, video highlights from Steven Yeun interview with Conan O'Brien, and much more:

Exit to Hell Release Details: "After robbing a mafia run strip club, a naïve group of thugs head for the border to enjoy their bounty. But when they enter the remote and wind-swept town of Redstone, they gruesomely discover that revenge is all in how you slice it. Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th, Hatchet) takes the title role as Sheriff Slade Sickle, a man with an abiding appetite for justice! Exit to Hell co-stars Tiffany Shepis (Nightmare Man, Dark Reel) and Rena Riffel (Showgirls, Mulholland Dr.) in this carnage-filled tribute to American Grindhouse cinema.

Uncork’d Entertainment has inked North American VOD, digital and home entertainment rights to the rough and rugged horror drama Exit to Hell (previously titled Sickle). Exit to Hell was written, directed and produced by Robert Conway and Funhouse Features producers David Friedman, Justin Anderson and Executive Producer Anthony Casanova. Exit to Hell is expected on VOD in early November and DVD in early 2014. Uncork’d Entertainment’s Keith Leopard made today’s announcement.

“Robert Conway and his producers truly understand the depth and cinematic history of this genre,” remarked Leopard, “and it’s all on the screen. Having iconic actor Kane Hodder adds another layer to this film that I’m certain will thrill a huge audience throughout the U.S. and Canada.""

Details on Evil Feed from Alain Chanoine: "Evil Feed is a horror-action-comedy about a sinister Chinese restaurant that kidnaps elite MMA fighters off the streets, forcing them to fight to the death Pit of Gore, and then serves up the loser for dinner to paying guests. Alain's character in Evil Feed is Tyrone, a 70’s leather coat wearing, Karate loving and vengeful badass. When his friends get in trouble Tyrone goes in head first to save his friends – but of course, with swag and style.

A little bit more on Alain, known for his world-class martial arts skills, his stunt work can be seen in film such as Immortals, Percy Jackson & the Lightening Thief, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, Blade: Trinity and more. Alain was also part of the team that came up with the concept for all the action scenes of the box-office hit, Resident Evil: Retribution. Upcoming, Alain’s stunt work can be seen as Atticus’ stunt double in the highly-anticipated 2014 film Pompeii, starring Kit Harrington, Emily Browning and Kiefer Sutherland."

Here's what Alain had to say about his experience working on the movie:

"My experience on "Evil Feed" was one of a kind. First, I cannot recall even watching a gory film with good comedy, horror and Martial Arts, let alone work on it. I was living in Toronto, Canada, when Aaron Au, the producer of the film called me to be part of the project. I've been working as an actor for more than 12 years now, but I had yet to play an Action Hero. By that I mean a main character that can kick serious butts. So, I jumped on the opportunity. I've always wanted to use my experience in Martial Arts in my acting career. When we were not on set we were rehearsing the fights which made the whole experience very intense and amazing."

"It was so much fun to play Tyrone, my character in the film. Tyrone is straight out of a 70's black exploitation flick. It's all about Swagger and beat downs. He is like the enforcer of the group, when his friends get into trouble with a ruthless group of cannibals, Tyrone jumps in to save his friends.

[Spoiler- Highlight to read] While I was reading the script and was noticing that people were getting killed left right and centre, I kept expecting to die in the next page. You should have seen my face when I realized I made it to the end of the film. I was like: "Yes I made it!” [End Spoiler]

Two Guys and a Film Announce Four Horror Films: "Independent production shingle, Two Guys and a Film, announced their second slate of feature films today. The films, totaling five, will all be horror/sci-fi genre films and will kick off production in early 2014. Each film will star recognizable name talent in the starring roles.

Out of the entire slate of films, four of the five will be in the horror genre. The stories will range in plot across the full genre itself. Zombie actioner, ‘Extinction’ is about a group of military elite who travel deep behind enemy lines to investigate a viral outbreak. ‘Decapitator’ will be a creature feature about a group of college students who become hunted by an ancient Peruvian blood-god.

The found-footage film, ‘Beach Day Massacre’ follows a group of marine biology students as they document a series of fatal shark attacks. ‘Villisca’ will be a true-life paranormal haunter in the vain of ‘The Conjuring’, about a family whose new home is terrorized by the ghosts of the children who were murdered there.

Rounding out the slate is sci-fi thriller, ‘68 Minutes’ about a former scientist who breaks out of a mental institute in order to stop a device that could potentially create a universal time crisis.

As far as why the company is focusing on a slate of films instead of a single production, co-owner James Thomas states, “We’ve proven on the last two films that a film slate model can work. Now it’s time to take it up a notch. We’ve always thought big and bold. This is just the natural progression for us as filmmakers.”

For these films, the company is turning to crowd-funding in order to raise the initial development monies. That money will go toward hiring a well-established Line-Producer and Casting Director, forming multiple Limited Liability Companies for investment purposes, paying various legal fees, as well as traveling to meet with potential investors. With a combined Twitter following of just under 50K, the company is really looking to their social media fan base of film genre lovers and independent filmmakers to help get the ball rolling. The campaign launches today."

Tamika hails from North Beach, Maryland, a tiny town inches from the Chesapeake Bay.She knew she wanted to be an actor after reciting a soliloquy by Sojourner Truth in front of her entire fifth grade class. Since then, she's appeared in over 20 film and television projects. In addition to acting, Tamika is the Indie Spotlight manager for Daily Dead, where she brings readers news on independent horror projects every weekend.

The first horror film Tamika watched was Child's Play. Being eight years old at the time, she remembers being so scared when Chucky came to life that she projectile vomited. It's tough for her to choose only one movie as her favorite horror film, so she picked two: Nosferatu and The Stepford Wives (1975).
