Featuring a Universal Monster-esque lineup of characters, the new tabletop game Campy Creatures allows you to be a mad scientist with all manner of mayhem at your fingertips, and you can help bring this project to life through its Kickstarter campaign.

Campy Creatures is already fully funded but has plenty of stretch goals remaining, and you can learn more below and at the game's official Kickstarter page.

From Kickstarter: "From the team that brought you Control comes Campy Creatures. Players are mad scientist in need of precious Mortals for future experiments. Rather than getting your hands dirty, your army of Campy Creatures awaits to do your bidding. Capture the most valuable Mortals over the course of three nights to win. But be warned—the Mortals won’t go down without a fight.

What is Campy Creatures?

It's a ghoulish game of bluffing, deduction, and set collection for 2-5 players. Players begin each round with the same hand of creatures. Their goal is to capture valuable Mortals by outguessing their opponents. Each player has perfect information at the start so knowing what a person might do in a particular situation is key.

What’s in the box?

  • Five Creature Decks: 45 Poker-size Cards (9 Creatures each)
  • The Mortal Deck: 30 Poker-size Cards
  • The Clash-O-Meter (The Board)
  • Player Markers and Score-Trackers
  • The Rules

Who’s Campy Creatures for?

If you enjoy the thrill and tension of reading people and outwitting them in a particular situation, then Campy Creatures is for you. The heart of the game is outguessing the other players as much of the time you have perfect information as to what’s in their hand.

This would be a light-to-medium weight game. Non-gamers and casuals should be able to pick it up and have a blast within no time. For the masters of meeples out there, we believe this could be a great starter to game night or a nice lunch-break or convention game.

The theme is playfully dark, but all content will be family-friendly. The box must say 14 and up, but we found the game has been enjoyed by kids as young as 8."
