While lightsabers are slashing through the air on the big screen today, proton packs are taking aim in new posters for the Ghostbusters reboot, with details on each core character also being revealed.

Featuring the film's main cast, the four fresh character posters tease New York City's new team of supernatural sleuths. Entertainment Weekly debuted the poster for Kristen Wiig's character, Erin Gilbert, who director Paul Feig describes as "particle physicist, academic firebrand, spectral warrior.”

TIME unveiled the poster for Jillian Holtzmann (played by SNL standout Kate McKinnon). Feig calls Holtzmann a “nuclear engineer, munitions expert, proton wrangler.”

InStyle revealed the poster for SNL star Leslie Jones' Patty Tolan, who Feig describes as "ghost tracker, municipal historian, metaphysical commando."

Melissa McCarthy's Abby Yates takes center stage in the character poster debuted by People. Feig calls Yates a "paranormal researcher, supernatural scientist, entity trapper."

Based on a screenplay he co-wrote with Katie Dippold (The Heat), Feig's Ghostbusters reboot is slated to hit theaters on July 15th, 2016. Chris Hemsworth will play Kevin the receptionist, with Andy Garcia, Matt Walsh, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Cecily Strong also along for the ride.

Original Ghostbusters stars Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Annie Potts, and Sigourney Weaver are all set to appear in the reboot as well. Stay tuned to Daily Dead for more details. In the meantime, what do you think of the new posters and character details?
