Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper) and Arseface (Ian Colletti) are silhouetted in a new photo from the set of AMC's Preacher pilot, which is currently being directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.

Rogen recently Tweeted the image, which shows Jesse having what looks to be an intense conversation with fan favorite Arseface, aka Eugene Root, a young man who, in the comic books, was spurred on to attempt suicide after Kurt Cobain's death, only to survive a gunshot to the face.

Joining Rogen and Goldberg behind the camera is Bill Pope, who's worked as the director of photography on The Matrix films, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies, Edgar Wright's The World's End, and much more. Rogen and Goldberg are directing from a screenplay they wrote with Sam Catlin (Breaking Bad).

Along with Cooper and Colletti, Preacher stars Joseph Gilgun as Irish vampire Cassidy, Ruth Negga as Tulip, W. Earl Brown as Sheriff Root, and Lucy Griffiths as church organist Emily Woodrow.

Since its first publication run from 1995 – 2000, readers have embraced the dark humor, thought-provoking writing, and visceral violence of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's Preacher comic book series, and if AMC decides to put in a full series order for Preacher, we'll see if that paneled page magic can be translated to the small screen, likely in 2016.

Synopsis: "Based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s twisted ’90s comic book series, “Preacher” is about Jesse Custer, a conflicted Preacher in a small Texas town who merges with a creature that has escaped from heaven and develops the ability to make anyone do anything he says. Along with his ex-girlfriend, Tulip, and an Irish vampire named Cassidy, the three embark on a journey to literally find God."
