The killer from The Town That Dreaded Sundown wasn't the only movie maniac to wear a sack over his head. Jason Voorhees, widely remembered by his hockey mask, actually donned a canvas sack with one eyehole in Friday the 13th: Part II. It was an in-between time for Jason, as Shelly wouldn't show up to Crystal Lake with the hockey mask until the next film. The sack made for a very creepy-looking backwoods standalone Jason in Part II, however, and fans of the horror franchise's first sequel should be happy to learn that NECA will be releasing a "Sack Head" Jason later this year.

As reported by Figures.com, NECA's latest Jason figure is 8 inches tall and decked out in a plaid shirt and overalls. Never one to be caught without a weapon, this Jason figure comes with a pick axe and pitchfork. Featuring an early eighties barnyard look that separates it from the Jason look of later sequels (dark buttoned shirt, gray pants, occasional jacket), this NECA version of Jason should intrigue collectors looking for something a little different when it comes to their favorite beachfront slasher.

Equipped with custom illustrated artwork, NECA's Friday the 13th: Part II Jason figure is expected to go on sale this September for $24.99 and is available for pre-order at a number of online retailers.
