Although last October marked the 40th anniversary of Tobe Hooper's seminal horror film, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, NECA's continuing the celebration with their Ultimate Leatherface figure. Ahead of the figure's September release, NECA's unveiled new photos of their latest take on the backroads killer.

From NECA: "Can you survive… the Ultimate Leatherface figure? We have recent photographic evidence that the masked killer already has his chainsaw oiled and ready — and he’ll be brandishing it in stores soon!

The figure starts shipping to retailers at the beginning of September, so check out the photo gallery below and be prepared.

To commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, we present the definitive collector’s version of Leatherface as he appeared in the 1974 film.

The 7” scale figure gets the deluxe treatment, with an all-new body featuring over 25 points of articulation, plus 2 equally gruesome interchangeable heads. Leatherface comes with chainsaw, knife, mallet, meat hook, cleaver, and a vinyl apron. Loaded with features, detail and articulation, and packaged in a Deluxe 40th Anniversary window box."
