With this past weekend seeing another movie added to the Marvel films family in Guardians of the Galaxy, Warner Bros. is setting their sights on a similarly structured future with the unveiling of nine release dates for untitled DC films through 2020, while also revealing that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be moved from its May 6th, 2016 slot to an earlier spot on that year's calendar.

Collider reports that Warner Bros. has moved the release of DC's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice from May 6th, 2016 to March 25th, 2016, taking the film out of summer blockbuster territory. Some speculate that Warner Bros. pushed forward the Batman/Superman mash-up to avoid competing directly with Marvel's Captain America 3, which is expected to hit theaters in May of 2016. Warner Bros.' Gerard Butler-starring Geostorm has been removed from the March 25th, 2016 slot and will receive a new debut date.

In a similar fashion to Marvel's strategy, Warner Bros. has also confirmed release dates for nine upcoming, yet-to-be revealed DC films, as well as two "Untitled WB Event" movies. A Justice League movie is in the works and is expected to fill one of those slots, and many expect Wonder Woman and Aquaman to receive feature films of their own, as both characters are slated to appear in the Justice League film, with Wonder Woman confirmed for the upcoming Batman/Superman film and Aquaman rumored to also be in the project. Here's the full list of Warner Bros.' recently announced mysterious movies:
