Horror fans looking forward to seeing new big screen hauntings at 112 Ocean Avenue will have to wait over six more months, as Dimension Films has moved Amityville: The Awakening’s theatrical release date to summer of 2017.

Deadline reports that Amityville: The Awakening is now scheduled to begin its wide theatrical release on June 30th, 2017. It was previously slated to come out on January 6th, and before that it was penciled in for an April 1st debut after undergoing multiple calendar shuffles.

Starring Jennifer Jason Leigh, Bella Thorne, Cameron Monaghan, Thomas Mann, and Kurtwood Smith, Amityville: The Awakening was directed by Franck Khalfoun and produced by Jason Blum.
