The living and the dead will once again communicate in Universal Pictures' Ouija: Origin of Evil, and ahead of the film's trailer debut tomorrow, the official poster for the film has been unveiled.

Revealed on the movie's Facebook page, the Ouija: Origin of Evil poster was accompanied with the following caption:

"Something is wrong with Doris. Here’s a first look at the poster for Ouija: Origin of Evil in theaters this Halloween – see the trailer tomorrow. #OuijaMovie"

Directed by Mike Flanagan (Hush, Oculus) from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jeff Howard, Ouija: Origin of Evil stars Parker Mack, Elizabeth Reaser, Annalise Basso, Sam Anderson, Kate Siegel, Henry Thomas, Annalise Basso, Lulu Wilson, and Doug Jones.

A follow-up film to 2014's Ouija, which starred Olivia Cooke and was directed by Stiles White, Ouija: Origin of Evil is based upon the infamous Hasbro board game and is slated to hit theaters on October 21st, 2016.

Judging by the poster's ’70s-esque appearance and "Origin" being in the title, it looks like Flanagan could be taking viewers back in time for a prequel rather than a sequel. We'll find out more when the trailer is released tomorrow, and we'll be sure to share it with Daily Dead readers as soon as it's unveiled.
