Prometheus IMAX Trailer Released

Last week it was announced that Prometheus would receive an IMAX 3D release. A full 2+ minute trailer is expected to premiere tonight at WonderCon, but until then, we have a brand new Prometheus IMAX trailer with plenty of new footage.

“Ridley Scott, director of ‘Alien’ and ‘Blade Runner,’ returns to the genre he helped define. With ‘Prometheus’ he creates a groundbreaking mythology in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.”

Prometheus is directed by Ridley Scott and will be released on June 8th. The film stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Logan Marshall-Green, Charlize Theron, and Idris Elba. Catch up on recent Prometheus coverage:
