This March, five troubled teenagers will have their hands full with a sinister sorceress from space when Rita Repulsa (Elizabeth Banks) comes to Earth to raise a little (or more likely, a lot) of hell. Ahead of the new Power Rangers movie's release in March, a new image of the galactic witch has been unveiled.

Synopsis: "SABAN’S POWER RANGERS follows five ordinary teens who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove — and the world — is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so, they will have to overcome their real-life issues and before it’s too late, band together as the Power Rangers."

Directed by Dean Israelite (Project Almanac) the new Power Rangers movie stars Becky G (Yellow Ranger Trini), Ludi Lin (Black Ranger Zack), Dacre Montgomery (Red Ranger Jason), Naomi Scott (Pink Ranger Kimberly), RJ Cyler (Blue Ranger Billy), with Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa, Bill Hader as the voice of Alpha 5, and Bryan Cranston as Zordon.

The new Power Rangers movie is slated for a March 24th, 2017 theatrical release from Lionsgate and Saban Films. Stay tuned to Daily Dead for more updates, and in case you missed them, check out previously released promo images of Rita Repulsa.
