You might have seen your birthday party reflected in their gleaming surfaces once upon a time. As they sang, their glazed eyes may have caught your own lively ones, and perhaps you noticed a little life in the pupils of the animatronic animal on stage. In the Five Nights at Freddy's video game, those robotic performers walk and kill at night, and Warner Bros. has taken notice of this creepy premise, as they have acquired the adaptation rights to the popular survival horror game. Five Nights at Freddy's: The Hollywood Reporter reveals that a Five Nights at Freddy's feature film adaptation is in development at Warner Bros.
Vertigo Entertainment's Roy Lee and KatzSmith Productions' Seth Grahame-Smith (author of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies) and David Katzenberg will produce the movie. Writers are currently being sought to pen the script. Lee, Grahame-Smith, and Katzenberg are also producing the upcoming film adaptation of Stephen King's IT, which is slated to start shooting this summer.
Five Nights at Freddy's was created by Scott Cawthon and debuted last August. Since then, the game's infectious fear has spread amongst gamers and two sequels, Five Nights at Freddy's 2 and Five Nights at Freddy's 3, have been releasedIf you'd like to know more about Five Nights at Freddy's, we have the original game's official synopsis and teaser trailer:
"Welcome to your new summer job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, where kids and parents alike come for entertainment and food as far as the eye can see! The robots' behavior has become somewhat unpredictable at night however, and it was much cheaper to hire you as a security guard than to find a repairman.
From your small office you must watch the security cameras carefully. You have a very limited amount of electricity that you're allowed to use per night (corporate budget cuts, you know). That means when you run out of power for the night- no more security doors and no more lights! If something isn't right- namely if Freddybear or his friends aren't in their proper places, you must find them on the monitors and protect yourself if needed!

Contamination Blu-ray / DVD: On June 29th, Arrow Video will release the 1980 sci-fi horror film, Contamination, on Blu-ray and DVD in both the US and the UK.
Synopsis: "Branded as a “video nasty” in the UK, director Luigi Cozzi’s Contamination takes the premise of Ridley Scott’s classic Alien and peppers it with exploding guts galore and a dangerously infectious soundtrack from celebrated Italian prog-rockers Goblin (Deep Red, Suspiria).
A cargo ship drifts up the Hudson River. Its crew: all dead, their bodies horribly mutilated, turned inside out by an unknown force. Its freight: boxes upon boxes of glowing, pulsating green eggs.
