We have details on the sCare Foundation's Halloween Launch Benefit, taking place in Los Angeles on October 30th. The sCare Foundation is a recently formed charitable organization founded by Malek Akkad (Halloween Series) "dedicated to alleviating the hardships of poverty and homelessness facing today’s youth throughout Northern America".

WHAT: Sure to be the biggest Halloween bash of 2011, the sCare Foundation Halloween Launch Benefit will also be the night’s most fearsome fundraiser. At the event, the foundation will give its first-ever Humanitarian Award to two-time Golden Globe® winner Jamie Lee Curtis (the original Halloween, True Lies). The benefit will be held at The Conga Room @ L.A. Live, and will be a star-studded night of live music and entertainment, along with a silent auction where fans can bid on a wide variety of items – all for a great cause!
