Rob Zombie's Facebook page is a marketing machine. We've seen very little in the way of traditional marketing materials and announcements, but Rob Zombie has been doing a great job of releasing regular information on The Lords of Salem. We've collected a number of updates from Zombie, including the casting of Udeo Kier and Clint Howard in the faux film Frankenstein vs The Witchfinder.

Last week, Rob Zombie released a poster for Frankenstein vs The Witchfinder, which appears to be a faux film that will appear within The Lords of Salem. This morning, he announced the cast for the film, which includes:

"UDO [Kier] as Matthew Hopkins aka Klaus the Reaper (the hero)
CLINT HOWARD as Carlo Caravaggio (the dwarf)
DAN ROEBUCK as The Frankenstein Monster (the creature)
and
CAMILLE KEATON as Doris Von Fux (the wench)"

We've also included two images involving goats below. The first is a an actual image from the movie, while the other looks to be a poster promoting one of the bands that will be featured within the film. The Lords of Salem involves a radio station and a free rock concert, so we're expecting to see a number of fake metal bands in the film.

“Heidi, a blonde rock chick, DJs as a local radio station, and together with the two Hermans (Whitey and Munster) forms part of the ‘Big H Radio Team’.

A myserious wooden box containing a vinyl record arrives for Heidi, ’a gift from the Lords’. She assumes it’s a rock band on a mission to spread their word. As Heidi and Whitey play the Lords’ record, it starts to play backwards, and Heidi experiences a flashback to a past trauma.

Later, Whitey plays the Lords’ record, dubbing them the Lords of Salem, and to his surprise, the record plays normally and is a massive hit with listeners.

The arrival of another wooden box from the Lords presents the Big H team with free tickets, posters and records to host a gig in Salem. Soon Heidi and her cohorts find that the gig is far from the rock spectacle they’re expecting: the original Lords of Salem are returning, and they’re out for BLOOD.”
