With the success of V/H/S and its sequel, a third film moving forward has been expected, but we were surprised when nothing turned up at Sundance, where the first two films made their world premiere. Thankfully, the project is alive and well, and we can now tell you which directors are on board.

According to Screen Daily, the third film will be titled V/H/S Viral and will focus on "fame-obsessed teens who unwittingly become stars of the next internet sensation."

The directors include Todd Lincoln (The Apparition), Nacho Vigalondo (Timecrimes), Marcel Sarmiento, Gregg Bishop (Dance of the Dead), Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Resolution). There's no casting news as this time, but we know that the screenplays were written by Marcel Sarmimento, TJ Cimfel, Dave White, Gregg Bishop, Nacho Vigalondo, Justin Benson, Aaron Moorehead and Todd Lincoln.

Epic Pictures Group will be selling the movie at Cannes, so expect more details on this project in the coming weeks. Here's a look at the first photo from the film that was shared by Brad Miska:
