This weekend, Jon Watts’ Clown premieres in limited theaters and on VOD platforms everywhere, and to get you ready for the disturbing body-horror-meets-twisted-fairytale, Daily Dead recently chatted with the film’s producer, Eli Roth, to hear more about how he got involved with the project.

During our interview, Roth discussed how Clown evolved from a fake trailer into a bona fide horror movie, his approach to producing and collaborating with both Watts and his co-writer Christopher Ford, his thoughts on the art of creating challenging material, and more.

Check out our interview with Roth below, and be sure to see Clown when it’s released on June 17th, courtesy of Dimension Films and Anchor Bay Entertainment.
