This Friday, New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. are hoping a new horror icon is born with their upcoming film, The Gallows. Co-written and directed by Travis Cluff and Chris Lofing, the story follows a group of high school drama students (Reese Mishler, Pfeifer Brown, Ryan Shoos, and Cassidy Gifford) who are terrorized one night as they prepare to perform “The Gallows”- the doomed play that claimed the life of a teenager some 20 years prior after a stunt went horribly wrong.

During the recent press day at the Hollywood High School, Daily Dead had the opportunity to speak with the cast of The Gallows about their experiences working on the film, the challenges of the movie’s unconventional shooting style and dealing with their own superstitions during production.

Check out our video interview with the cast of The Gallows below and look for it in theaters everywhere July 10th.
