We're back with another video round-up. This time around we have a trailer, clip, and bonus feature interview excerpt from Scream Factory's upcoming New Year's Evil Blu-ray release (due out on February 24th), as well as the green band trailer and a new clip from IFC Midnight's road trip zombie movie, Wyrmwood: Road Of The Dead, and also a video celebrating the wonderful traits of a key character on AMC's The Walking Dead. *Spoiler warning for those who haven't seen the latest episode of The Walking Dead.*

New Year's Evil Blu-ray: "Diane "Blaze" Sullivan, the host of a nationally televised punk-rock show on New Year's Eve, is receiving calls from a mysterious killer who tells her of his plans to off someone at midnight in each of America's major time zones… and she will be the last.

Starring Roz Kelly (who played Pinky Tuscadero on Happy Days), Kip Niven (Magnum Force), Grant Cramer (Killer Klowns From Outer Space), Louisa Moritz (Death Race 2000), Taaffe O’Connell (Galaxy Of Terror) and Teri Copley (We Got It Made), New Year's Evil injects an "intimate and refreshing viewpoint into what was once a tired old scenario" (Andre Dumas, The Horror Digest)…and then takes you on a non-stop thrill ride of unmitigated terror!"

Bonus Features:

  • Audio Commentary with director Emmett Alston
  • The Making of New Year's Evil featuring new interviews with actors Kip Niven, Grant Cramer and Taaffe O'Connell and director of photography Thomas Ackerman
  • Theatrical Trailer

Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead: "On the eve of a zombie apocalypse, Barry's sister Brooke is kidnapped by a sinister team of gas-mask donning soldiers and experimented on by a deranged doctor. While Brooke plans her escape, Barry attempts to find his sister and teams up with Benny, a fellow survivor. Together, they must arm themselves and prepare to fight their way through hordes of flesh-eating mutants."

From IFC Midnight, Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead comes out in theaters and on VOD on February 13th. Directed by Kiah Roache-Turner off a screenplay he wrote with Tristan Roache-Turner, the film stars Jay Gallagher, Bianca Bradey, Leon Burchill, and Luke McKenzie.

*Spoiler Warning* The Walking Dead: “Season Four of “The Walking Dead” ended with Rick and the group outgunned, outnumbered, and trapped in a train car awaiting a grim fate.

Season Five picks up shortly thereafter. What follows is a story that weaves the true motives of the people of Terminus with the hopeful prospect of a cure in Washington, D.C., the fate of the group’s lost comrades, as well as new locales, new conflicts, and new obstacles in keeping the group together and staying alive.

Stories will break apart and intersect. The characters will find love and hate. Peace and conflict. Contentment and terror. And, in the quest to find a permanent, safe place to call home, one question will haunt them…

After all they’ve seen, all they’ve done, all they’ve sacrificed, lost, and held on to no matter what the cost… Who do they become?”
