In our latest video round-up, we take a look at the first trailer for the science fiction thriller, Self/less, starring Ben Kingsley and Ryan Reynolds, a clip from the SXSW Midnighters selection He Never Died, featuring Henry Rollins, and a look at the sleep paralysis horror film, Echoes.
Self/less: "In this provocative psychological science fiction thriller, an extremely wealthy man (Academy Award® Winner Ben Kingsley) dying from cancer undergoes a radical medical procedure that transfers his consciousness into the body of a healthy young man (Ryan Reynolds). Self/less stars Ben Kingsley, Ryan Reynolds, Matthew Goode, Michelle Dockery, Natalie Martinez, Victor Garber and Derek Luke. Directed by Tarsem Singh off a screenplay by David Pastor and Àlex Pastor, Self/less hits theaters on July 31st from Focus Features.
He Never Died: "Jack’s in a rut. Depression and severe anti-social behavior has whittled down his existence to sleeping and watching television. Seeing the human race as little more than meat with a pulse, Jack has no interest to bond with anyone. There’s little purpose for him to make friends with someone he’d eventually eat or outlive by more than a millennia. The fuse is lit when Jack's past comes back to rattle him. Jack must now walk a tight rope of sobriety and try to eat as few people as possible in this violent tale of personal responsibility."
Written and directed by Jason Krawczyk, He Never Died will premiere on Tuesday, March 17th at the SXSW Film Festival.

From Anchor Bay Entertainment, Echoes will be available to download beginning April 3rd and will come out on DVD on April 14th.
