Having appeared at every New York Comic Con since the show's premiere in 2010, we knew it was likely that the cast and crew of AMC's The Walking Dead would attend the event once again this October, but now it's official. Actors and producers from the hit zombie series will be in attendance at NYCC, with Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira, and Norman Reedus among those on the guest list.

The cast and producers of The Walking Dead will discuss Season 5 and present an exclusive sneak preview on Saturday, October 11th, one day before the Season 5 premiere. We'll have more details on the NYCC schedule soon, but in the meantime we know that the following cast members of The Walking Dead are listed as spotlight guests and are set to appear on Saturday, October 11th:

The Walking Dead Season 5 will premiere in the US on October 12th, at 9:00pm ET/PT. Similar to past seasons, there are a total of sixteen episodes that will be split into two parts. While specific air dates have not been announced for the second set of eight episodes, AMC has confirmed that the season will resume in February, 2015.

Talking Dead will also make its return on October 12th and our international readers will be happy to know that Fox International Channels is planning to air The Walking Dead Season 5 in over 125 markets within 24 hours of the US broadcast.
