She's helmed episodes of three of the most popular TV series in recent years—Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and The Walking Dead—and now Michelle MacLaren will take her behind-the-camera skills to the big screen, as it's been revealed that she will direct Wonder Woman for Warner Bros.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michelle MacLaren has signed on to helm and develop the Wonder Woman feature film, which is being penned by a yet-to-be-revealed group of writers. The film will star Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and will be released to theaters by Warner Bros. on June 23rd, 2017. Charles Roven, Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder are a few of the movie's producers.

Gadot will make her debut as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (hitting theaters on March 25th, 2016) and is also expected to appear in 2017's Justice League Part One.

Fans of AMC's The Walking Dead might look back at MacLaren's work on the show with fondness, as she helmed some of the series' most memorable moments. She directed the Atlanta-set second episode of the entire series, "Guts", in 2010, the "Pretty Much Dead Already" second season episode in which Hershel's barn walkers were released, and the fourth season finale, "A", in which Rick and the group arrived at Terminus. We'll keep Daily Dead readers updated on further Wonder Woman news.
