“Woods” Photo from The Evil Dead Remake

A photo of the woods may not normally be news, but when we're talking about the remake of The Evil Dead, that's a different story. Filming is set to begin later this year in New Zealand and director Fede Alvarez recently shared a location photo of "the path to hell".

“Five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin where they discover a Book Of The Dead and unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.”
