Werewolf Movie Marathon: Press Release: "Grab a handful of silver bullets, because El Rey Network is celebrating the werewolf this Saturday, March 12th with a marathon of howl-worthy films.
The marathon will begin in the safe light of the morning, with the television debut of DARK MOON RISING (2015) at 10:00 AM ET/PT, followed by the debut of BLOOD MOON (2014) at 12:00 PM ET/PT. Werewolf classics like THE HOWLING (1981) and AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON (1981) will follow and the films will replay throughout the day.

AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON (1981)
David (David Naughton) and Jack (Griffin Dunne), two American college students, are backpacking through Britain when a large wolf attacks them. David survives with a bite, but Jack is brutally killed. As David heals in the hospital, he's plagued by violent nightmares of his mutilated friend, who warns David that he is becoming a werewolf. When David discovers the horrible truth, he contemplates committing suicide before the next full moon causes him to transform from man to murderous beast.
BLOOD MOON (2014)
In 1887 in Colorado, two outlaws on the run capture a stagecoach carrying gunslinger Calhoun. As the passengers think of ways to outwit their captors, an otherworldly beast stalks them in the light of the blood moon.
DARK MOON RISING (2015)
A group of shape-shifting werewolves descends upon a small town in search of a girl who is re-born once every 2,000 years. She holds the key to their survival and all will die who stand in their way.
THE HOWLING (1981)
In Los Angeles, television journalist Karen White (Dee Wallace) is traumatized in the course of aiding the police in their arrest of a serial murderer. Her doctor recommends that she attend an isolated psychiatric retreat led by Dr. George Waggner (Patrick Macnee). But while Karen is undergoing therapy, her colleague Chris (Dennis Dugan), investigates the bizarre circumstances surrounding her shock. When his work leads him to suspect the supernatural, he begins to fear for Karen's life.

Dogged: Press Release: "“Dogged” Horror feature film based on the acclaimed short enters final 15 days of fundraising on Kickstarter.
“Dogged” is a 4-minute horror short made in 2015 by Ash Mountain Films and director Richard Rowntree. The film is not available to the public just yet as it has been entered into several genre-specific festivals around the world. It was shot in one tortuous 19 hour shooting day and cost just GBP£300 to produce.
The film was entered into the BBC competition “The Fear” to unearth the best-undiscovered horror directors in Oct/Nov 2015 and finished 5th out of over 500 entries.
The short has received rave reviews from the horror community, and the team behind it are currently running a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to shoot a feature length version later this year.
The Kickstarter campaign ends on 25 March at 2.50 pm (GMT) and, as of the time of writing, is almost 33% funded.
Synopsis: “Dogged” is a dark fairy tale meshed with psychological terror and explores our primeval fear of “what lurks in the woods”.
When protagonist Sam and his girlfriend Lola are caught making out in his father's car by a bizarre masked man, their escape seems all too easy. As they return to their normal lives, they are plagued by visions of masked people watching them, and their lives begin to unravel in a depraved spiral of paranoia. As Sam digs deeper into these visions, he discovers that all is not what it seems in his seemingly idyllic rural community, and he uncovers a murderous cult who will stop at nothing to preserve the status quo of their environment, and keep their identities a secret.
