With American Horror Story: Coven nearly complete, we're already starting to hear about the fourth season. Like usual, Ryan Murphy and the rest of the creative team like to keep things secret until later in the year, but he did drop a few hints during a recent interview:

via EW: “It’s set in 1950... If you look historically what happened in the year 1950, there’s some more clues in that year. It’s a period piece. We try and do the opposite of what we’ve done before. Jessica Lange has already started practicing her German accent so I’m very excited!”

As mentioned above, Jessica Lange's involvement has already been confirmed and she previously mentioned that Season 4 will be her last. Other actors that appeared in past seasons are likely to make a return as well and we'll report any casting news as soon as it comes in. Back in November, FX officially announced that American Horror Story would be back for a fourth season and they confirmed it will once again contain thirteen episodes. An October premiere is expected.
