With the cast and crew of Ash vs Evil Dead coming to Comic-Con this week, Starz is revving up the anticipation for the show's second season with a new red band trailer and poster.

Ash vs Evil Dead will have a big presence at San Diego Comic-Con, as Starz recently announced an autograph session, panel, and screening for the series, with Bruce Campbell, Lucy Lawless, Rob Tapert, Dana DeLorenzo, Ray Santiago, Lee Majors, Ted Raimi, and Sam Raimi as the expected special guests.

From 2:00pm–3:00pm at the Ash vs Evil Dead cabin in the Petco Park Interactive Zone, fans can get autographs from select members of the cast and crew, and from 6:45pm–7:45pm on Saturday, July 23rd in Room 6A, an Ash vs Evil Dead panel will take place. Later that night at 10:00pm in Room 6DE, a special screening will provide fans with a look at the upcoming second season premiering this October on Starz.

Press Release: Beverly Hills, Calif., July 19, 2016 – Today, STARZ released a new “Ash vs Evil Dead” red band trailer that was deemed too gory for San Diego Comic-Con International. Musician and super fan of the series, Kid Cudi, premiered the trailer via twitter (@KidCudi). STARZ also revealed a never before seen poster for the series created especially for Comic-Con International. The poster will be available at the “Ash vs Evil Dead” cabin in Petco Park Interactive Zone to be signed by cast members and executive producers on the series.

“Ash vs Evil Dead,” a 10-episode half-hour series, is the long-awaited follow-up to the classic horror film, The Evil Dead.

The second season roars back into action with Ash leaving his beloved Jacksonville and returning to his hometown of Elk Grove, Michigan. There, he confronts Ruby. The former enemies have to form an uneasy alliance as Elk Grove soon becomes the nucleus of evil.

The cast is led by Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, “Burn Notice”) in the role of Ash Williams; Lucy Lawless (“Salem,” “Spartacus”) as Ruby Knowby, who now possesses the powerful Necronomicon; Ray Santiago (“Touch,” Meet the Fockers) as Pablo Simon Bolivar, Ash’s loyal sidekick dealing with the trauma he suffered in the cabin; and Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas) as Kelly Maxwell, who, grief-stricken after the death of her parents, plots revenge against The Evil Dead. Lee Majors (Do You Believe), Ted Raimi (“Xena: Warrior Princess,” Spider-Man) and Michelle Hurd (“Law & Order: SVU”) join the series this year as Brock Williams, Ash’s father, Chet Kaminski, Ash’s childhood best friend, and Linda, Ash’s high school love respectively.

Sam Raimi serves as Executive Producer with Rob Tapert (Evil Dead, “Spartacus,” Xena: Warrior Princess”), Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, “Burn Notice”) and Ivan Raimi (Drag Me To Hell, Spider-Man 3) along with Craig DiGregorio (“Workaholics,” “Chuck”) who serves as Executive Producer/Showrunner. Aaron Lam (“Spartacus”) and Moira Grant (“Spartacus”) serve as Producers.
