Scream Factory will make this Halloween season one to remember for many horror fans, as they have just announced a Collector's Edition Blu-ray of William Peter Blatty’s The Exorcist III.
Due out on October 25th, The Exorcist III Collector's Edition Blu-ray will feature a long list of yet-to-be-revealed bonus features, as well as a Director's Cut of the film that Scream Factory is taking extra care to put together:

We know that the biggest question you might have is: Will there be a “Director’s Cut” of the film? The answer is yes—but with some caveats. We are working on putting together a version that will be close to Blatty’s original script using a mixture of various film and video tape sources that we have been provided with.
