For Olivia “Liv” Moore, a med student-turned-zombie, getting a job at the coroner's office is a best case scenario. She's guaranteed work and food, and her ability to help solve homicide cases only adds to her full plate... of brains. We recently announced that iZombie, the TV series based on the DC comic book series, was picked up for a full season by The CW. Now the first official poster for the show has been unveiled and we have it for you to check out:

“A med student-turned-zombie takes a job in the coroner’s office to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat to maintain her humanity, but with each brain she consumes, she inherits the corpse’s memories. With the help of her medical examiner boss and a police detective, she solves homicide cases in order to quiet the disturbing voices in her head. Based on the characters created by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred, and published by DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint. Cast: Rose McIver (Liv).”

Veronica Mars‘ Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero have written the pilot and will executive produce. In March it was announced that Rose McIver (Once Upon a Time and Masters of Sex) would play the lead role in the project. Joining Rose McIver in the main cast is Robert Buckley as Liv’s former fiancé, Malcolm Goodwin as the police detective, Alexandra Krosney as Liv’s best friend, and David Anders as a villain.
