*Updated* Previously known as Beware the Night, the latest film from Scott Derrickson (Sinister) is now titled Deliver Us From Evil and we have a look a the first photos from the movie.
“In DELIVER US FROM EVIL, New York police officer Ralph Sarchie (Eric Bana), struggling with his own personal issues, begins investigating a series of disturbing and inexplicable crimes. He joins forces with an unconventional priest (Edgar Ramirez), schooled in the rituals of exorcism, to combat the frightening and demonic possessions that are terrorizing their city. Based upon the book, which details Sarchie’s bone-chilling real-life cases.”
Deliver Us From Evil stars Eric Bana, Edgar Ramirez, Olivia Munn, Sean Harris and Joel McHale. The script was written by Scott Derrickson & Paul Boardman, who previously worked together on The Exorcism Of Emily Rose. After originally planning to give the movie a January 2015 release, Sony recently moved it up to July 2nd.
