Teaser Trailer Released for The Guest

Last year, they brought horror to a family's cabin in the woods. Now, they're bringing it to another family's doorstep, this time at their house. The Guest, the next film from director Adam Wingard and writer Simon Barrett—the makers of You're Next—will open in theaters this September. In the meantime, a teaser trailer has dropped by for a visit.

Empire Magazine called it "a demented action-horror hybrid of sci-fi conspiracy thriller and gore-fest", and Vanity Fair US said, “THE GUEST is big, it’s bold, it’s badass, full of flavor Hollywood wishes it could pour over its vanilla blockbusters.”

Synopsis: "A soldier (Dan Stevens) introduces himself to the Peterson family, claiming to be a friend of their son who died in action. After the young man is welcomed into their home, a series of accidental deaths seem to be connected to his presence."

Directed by Adam Wingard and written by Simon Barrett, The Guest stars Dan Stevens, Maika Monroe, Leland Orser, Sheila Kelley, Brendan Meyer, and Lance Reddick.
