First Details on Zombie Comic, B0VINE: "Be careful when driving by the farm. Those words will ring truer than ever with the release of Bovine, the first original comic book from Follow Networks. Written by Follow Networks founder Chad Ettelbrick and illustrated by Lucas Patterson, Bovine is a one-off zombie story about an outbreak on a farm coming in May.

“Bovine is a story about a zombie outbreak happening in a group of cows. We talked to a group of zombie fanatics about what they thought would happen with a cow outbreak, and we turned their ideas into one-off comic story,” said story writer Chad Ettelbrick. “I like to think of [B0VINE] as the comic version of a B Horror Movie. It’s over the top, a little silly, a little weird. Everything I want from horror. We wrote it with the help of the attendees of the first Walker Stalker Con in Atlanta, and we plan to continue to create one-off comics at cons and events around the country.”

Bovine will be released in a limited print run and digitally via PDF and Comixology."

Roid Rage Trailer and Release Details: "Jack's Jacked Gym, the place that Beck sells his gear out of, is sponsoring a local amateur bodybuilding contest called "The Mega Muscles Contest" on Depot Island.

Spectators take a ferry out to the island and enjoy shopping at the array of local vendors and sponsors.

It is supposed to be a fun family day. But things are far from fun when Beck decides to inject the contestants with the experimental drug that he gets from England before the contest.

The film's action scenes and thrashing characters cut and illuminate like hatchet blades, inviting the innocent spectator into a world of truculent, flawed characters who live and die in a place that looks like Oz after dark."

Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys: "Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water.

Looking to get in on the campy "Sharknado" phenomenon, Animal Planet has set its own horror film from The Asylum -- the same people behind "Sharknado" -- called "Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys," set to premiere this Memorial Day weekend.

The two-hour scripted movie stars Shannen Doherty ("Beverly Hills, 90210"), Christopher Lloyd ("Back to the Future") and Jason Brooks ("Days of Our Lives"), and is directed by James Cullen Bressack ("Pernicious"). Doherty and company battle lampreys -- eel-like fish with huge teeth and funnel-shaped mouths -- after they slide their way into the city's sewer system and start terrorizing the residents of a
small Michigan town.

Brooks plays Michael, a fish and wildlife expert who moves to the town with his wife, Cate (Doherty), after being summoned by the town mayor, Akerman (Lloyd), to help deal with its attacking fish problem.
("River Monsters" star Jeremy Wade also makes a cameo.)

But with these blood-suckers on the loose, the town's residents quickly learn that a casual dip in the pool or routine trip to the toilet can turn deadly as the lampreys hunt for their next victim.

"Blood Lake" will premiere on Sunday, May 25 at 9 p.m. as part of the network's third annual "Monster Week" (actually nine days long) programming block.

Poster and Photos from The Drownsman: "After almost drowning in a lake, Madison finds herself bound to a life of fear. Unable to describe what happened to her during the moments she was underwater, Madison begins to develop hydrophobia: an abnormal fear of water. Crippled by her post trauma, Madison attempts to shut out the world around her but, her fear intensifies when she begins to be haunted by the vision of an evil figure. After watching her struggle for over a year, Madison's four friends stage an intervention in a desperate attempt to help. In doing so, they accidentally open a floodgate to a dark place where none of them are safe. As Madison and her friends dive deeper into the dark history of the evil that haunts them, they’re dragged one by one to a horrifying place where they may never return.

“We set out to make a film that created a new supernatural villain like the classic horror films of Clive Barker and Wes Craven, something that has become rare in the horror industry over the last decade,” explains writer/director Chad Archibald. “Similar to Freddy Kruger, Michael Myers, Pinhead and Jason Voorhees, we wanted to create a villain with a rich history and a juicy hook that could make an appearance in a few viewers nightmares.”

Directed by Chad Archibald (Neverlost, Ejecta). Written by Cody Calahan (Antisocial) and Chad Archibald. Starring Michelle Mylett (Antisocial), Caroline Korycki, Gemma Bird Matheson, Sydney Kondruss, Clare Bastable and in the horrifying title role, Ry Barrett (Neverlost, Kingdom Come, If A Tree Falls). Produced by Christopher Giroux (Antisocial, Dead All Night) and Chad Archibald. Executive Producers of the film are the team at Breakthrough Entertainment: Peter Williamson, Ira Levy, Marina Cordoni, Nat Abrahams and Michael McGuigan."
