"Come with me, murderess, come with me." Over a quarter of a century before Clue dazzled audiences with its mansion-based murder mystery, William Castle's House on Haunted Hill brought together its own group of strangers for a night of terror in which everything—including a body swinging from a noose—was not quite what it seemed. Bolstered by the legendary Vincent Price's memorable performance as the enigmatic millionaire Frederick Loren, House on Haunted Hill is still a must-watch movie around Halloween and will forever cause some horror fans to look at skeletons with a wary eye.

Perfectly capturing the spooky spirit of the film's stormy night setting is artist Jonathan Burton's new House on Haunted Hill movie poster for Mondo. Available in both color and black-and-white (with green title lettering) this new take on Castle's classic features three of the film's essentials—Price, the skeleton, and the hanging body—and will be available tomorrow.

Both versions of Burton's new House on Haunted Hill poster will be available tomorrow at a random time. Mondo will announce the poster's purchasing availability on their Twitter account:

The poster in color is limited to 200 and priced at $45, while the black-and-white poster is limited to 110 and priced at $65. Both editions have 24"x36" dimensions.

Press Release - "Tomorrow we'll be releasing HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL by Jonathan Burton. We've been a fan of Jonathan's for some time, and we're really excited to work with him on such a classic horror film title.

HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL featured stars both on screen and off. Ever reliant Vincent Price stars in one of his most memorable rolls, but the real star of the show is director William Castle and his promotional stunt "Emergo," in which a plastic skeleton was flown over the audience in the theater during key moments of the film. His creativity and inventiveness took sometimes mediocre movies and made them genuine experiences. This film is said to have inspired Alfred Hitchcock to make his own low budget horror film.... PSYCHO!

Here's what Jonathan had to say about the poster:

"I found House on Haunted Hill creepy and camp in equal measure and I wanted the poster to get into the spirit of the film in a fun 'haunted house’ atmosphere. There are some hidden details in the poster that I won’t reveal but will hopefully jump out to fans of the film. I drew Frederick Loren as a manipulative figure controlling the proceedings, and while at first we’re unsure about his motivations, Vincent Price plays the character as a deliciously dark puppet master."

You can check out detail shots of the prints on our blog.

Please follow us on Twitter for the on sale announcement. These posters will be available online at a random time on Thursday, March 5th."
