Before the living dead sink their teeth into the screen this Sunday, Entertainment Weekly unveiled seven new photos from The Walking Dead Season 6's second half.

Featuring the faces of friends and foes, including a walker reaching out for a helping hand to chew on, these new Season 6 photos from Gene Page / AMC were revealed today by EW:

Readers of Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead comic book series know that the second half of Season 6 will lead up to a heart-wrenching encounter with one of the series' most fearsome antagonists: Negan. Speaking with EW's Dalton Ross, Andrew Lincoln talked about his initial reaction to the Season 6 finale's script:

“I felt sick to my stomach when I read the script. It was the first day in the whole six years of working on The Walking Dead that I was late for work because I woke up in the middle of the night and I couldn’t get back to sleep. I was so angry and frustrated and I felt sick. And that was just after reading it.”

Viewers will have to wait until April 3rd to experience the fierce emotions of the season finale, but right around the corner is The Walking Dead Season 6 mid-season premiere, "No Way Out", which debuts on Sunday, February 14th at 9:00pm EST. The upcoming episode is directed by Greg Nicotero and written by Seth Hoffman. Stay tuned to Daily Dead for more coverage on the second half of the season.
