After tormenting the Oswalt family in 2012's Sinister, the malevolent entity known as Bughuul haunts a mother and her twin sons in Sinister 2, due out on August 21st. Ahead of the film's release, Bughuul's ominous presence is teased in a new poster.

In the aftermath of the shocking events in “Sinister,” a protective mother (Shannyn Sossamon of “Wayward Pines”) and her 9-year-old twin sons (real-life twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan) find themselves in a rural house marked for death as the evil spirit of Buhguul continues to spread with frightening intensity."
Directed by Ciaran Foy (Citadel) from a screenplay co-penned by Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill (the pair that scribed the original Sinister), Sinister 2 hits theaters on August 21st. In addition to Sossamon, Sinister 2 stars real life twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan, and also sees James Ransone reprise his role as the Deputy (referred to as Deputy So-and-So in the original film).
